  • Entry Level Programmer

    In your role as an entry level Programmer, you will directly support a variety of Army programs working on a variety of technical projects.

    • Support data collection test events in Huntsville and other various locations in the US
    • Support the development of unit tests and the execution of those tests
    • C++ software development, object-oriented design/development, graphical user interface development and hardware interface development
    What to expect
    • Develop graphical user interface (GUI) code using C++ and Qt for use in sensor control and acquisition
    • Become familiar with and support source control configuration control, requirements verification, and bug tracking processes
    • Develop various hardware interface modules in C++ to communicate via Ethernet, RS-232, and/or USB
    • Perform analysis on recorded data from test events and develop C++ modules to support performance assessment

  • Field Service Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Field Service Engineer (FSE) with more than 5 years of experience providing system maintenance, installation and operation in a deployed environment. This FSE will be providing system support and maintenance on the Containerized Weapon System (CWS) deployed in multiple OCONUS locations. This position has the following requirements

    • Familiarity with the operations and the design of the CWS and how it is deployed in theater
    • Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment in harsh environments
    • The willingness to deploy and live in OCONUS locations while providing support to the CWS
    • General knowledge of electronics, computers and the operation of computers utilizing the Windows operating system
    • Past military service is a plus but is not required

  • Systems Test Lead

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a Systems Test Lead with 3-5 years of experience. Duties include test planning, test execution, data collection, and post-test analysis. Pre and post test scenarios may be simulated utilizing virtual environments, so experience with C++ software development, object-oriented design/development, and three-dimensional virtual scene generation is desired. Experience and basic understanding of infrared systems and electro-optical systems is desired. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

    • Develop test reports and planning based on customer requirements
    • Develop network layout and interconnects for a wide variety of systems and sub-systems and verify information assurance requirements are met
    • Layout test scenarios based on test objectives and customer requirements
    • Participate in the execution of tests to include system setup, connection verification, test execution, and overall verification that test objectives are met
    • Execute pre-test and post-test simulation analysis using virtual environments, and simulated models running in an integrated architecture
    • Develop test reports summarizing test results and system performance
    • Budget and monitor multiple tasks and report progress against specific goals

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated SDR Engineer with 2-10 years of experience to work in a hands-on laboratory environment on a variety of technical projects.

    • Set up and operate laboratory-based Software-Defined Radio (SDR) hardware/software
    • Perform signal detection, identification, and decoding of captured waveforms
    • Perform RF signal reception and transmission of data using various modulations schemes (FSK, PSK, QAM, etc.)

  • Senior Machine and Tool Program Analyst

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Machine and Tool Program Analyst with more than twenty years experience to provide mechanical support in the fabrication and integration of various assemblies in support of several DoD systems. This position has the following requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant experience is required. Experience supporting DOD customers is preferred.

    • Setup and usage of machines for a safe and fully functional shop environment
    • Provides technical support to engineers working in a variety of areas
    • Conducts tests to collect design data
    • Machines proto-type parts for our government customer along with making piece parts for certain
    • Create CNC machine programs
    • Operate Grindersmanual mill and lathes and other small tools and shop equipment
    • Inspect components to verify they meet drawing requirements
    What skills, learnings, and experiences are required
    • Must have CNC setup and operation experience
    • Must be able to set-up and perform complex machining operations using manual machine shop equipment including but not limited to lathes, milling machines, saws, and drill press
    • Must be able to use calibrated inspection equipment when monitoring the quality of the parts

  • Senior RF Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated RF Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to work in a hands-on laboratory environment on a variety of technical projects.

    Duties Include:
    • Provide general lab consultation and expertise to the development of laboratory setups involving radio frequencies typically in the 300 – 3000 MHz range
    • Lead the development of software design radio (SDR) applications to implement various waveforms/modulation, signal analyses, and communications protocols
    • Specify and/or develop prototype antennas for specific laboratory testing
    • Provide consultation and requirements development support to RF integrated circuit development programs
    • Work with customers and other engineers to develop designs for prototypes

    Requirements:

  • Machinist

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Machinist with ten years of experience providing mechanical support in the fabrication and integration of various assemblies in support of several DoD systems.

    Duties Include:
    • Reading blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files
    • Securing, setting up and adjusting workpieces and cutting tools throughout shift to ensure precision and adhere to safety protocols and regulations
    • Set up, operate, and disassemble manual, automatic, and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Laser Scientist with expertise in the design, development, testing, and use of fiber and free-space laser systems for scientific research and development applications. The position will directly support leads in the execution of mechanical design and analysis from initial concept design through hardware delivery for various Department of Defense applications utilizing 3D CAD software.

  • Software Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate would work in a hands-on laboratory environment on a variety of technical projects related to the design and integration of numerous microcomputer systems.

    Duties Include:
    • Develop C++ code in support of embedded processors for use in signal processing, sensor control and acquisition
    • Support the C++ architecture development for the modular data acquisition and processing capability being developed and maintained for the US Army
    • Support image base algorithm development as it relates to infrared sensors to include image quality enhancements, image compression, and segmentation.
    • Develop various hardware interface modules in C++ to communicate via Ethernet, RS232, and/or USB
    • Become familiar with and support source control configuration control, requirements verification, and bug tracking processes
    • Support the development of unit tests and the execution of those tests
    Requirements:

    Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software and hardware, design, development, and integration.

    • Minimum Active Secret Clearance is required
    • Extensive knowledge of microcomputer system design and analysis processes
    • Experienced in the design, debugging, and integration of various software and hardware systems
    • Demonstrated expertise in real time operating systems, data collection systems, communications, and user interfaces
    Preferred:
    • Top Secret clearance is preferred
    • Project management experience
    • Experience working in a hands-on laboratory environment utilizing common lab test equipment(s)
    • Experience with XML applications, C#, .NET, SQL, C, or other programming languages
    • Experience using OpenGL, Qt, and MATLAB are desired
    • Knowledgeable in the design of graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
    Requires ability to:
