  • Entry Level Programmer

    Job Summary

    In your role as an entry level Programmer, you will directly support a variety of Army programs working on a variety of technical projects.

    • Support data collection test events in Huntsville and other various locations in the US
    • Support the development of unit tests and the execution of those tests
    • C++ software development, object-oriented design/development, graphical user interface development and hardware interface development
    What to expect
    • Develop graphical user interface (GUI) code using C++ and Qt for use in sensor control and acquisition
    • Become familiar with and support source control configuration control, requirements verification, and bug tracking processes
    • Develop various hardware interface modules in C++ to communicate via Ethernet, RS-232, and/or USB
    • Perform analysis on recorded data from test events and develop C++ modules to support performance assessment
    • Work as part of a team of customers and engineers

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and up to three (3) years of relevant experience.
      • Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or Secret Clearance with PR within 5 years

      • Work well in a small, fast-paced and mission-driven environment with co-workers, management, and client
      • Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking
      • Work independently with minimal supervision, and to make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgment is essential

  • Hardware Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required. A Computer Engineering degree with an emphasis on hardware is also applicable and five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
      • Requires flexibility and the ability to multi-task to take on parallel project work
      • Must be able to work effectively within project teams
      • Experience with VHDL code development and execution on programmable logic and gate arrays is required
      • Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or Secret Clearance with PR within 5 years

  • Electrical Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer with 1-5 years of experience. Duties include embedded hardware and software development to include microcontroller code development, VHDL coding, and intercommunications between FPGA and processors in a system-on-chip architecture. A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required. A Computer Engineering degree with an emphasis on hardware is also applicable. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

    • Develop VHDL code and execute on various families of FPGA to include system-on-chip configurations
    • Ability and willingness to work on the bench with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, etc.
    • Be able to multi-task and take on parallel project work
    • Develop C and C++ code for execution on embedded microcontrollers and ARM processors
    • Develop digital logic circuits and interfaces to analog-to-digital components
    • Perform printed circuit board level design and schematic capture design utilizing tools like Altium or ORCAD

  • Automatic Test Equipment Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a motivated U.S. citizen who can join our team to operate automatic test equipment (ATE) for semiconductor testing. Primary duties will include:

    • Operating an Advantest 93000 integrated circuit tester, writing test scripts, as well as analyzing and preparing reports of test results
    • Be able to design high-speed load-boards and device-under-test (DUT) boards that preserve signal fidelity during high-frequency measurements
    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is desired
    • Previous experience with the Advantest 93K tester is not required, but a background in operating automatic test equipment is a necessity
    • An active DoD secret (or higher) security clearance is required

  • SW Reverse Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a motivated U.S. citizen who can join our team to perform software reverse engineering for the purposes of software assurance. Duties include:

    • Reverse-engineering X86-based applications written for the Microsoft Windows OS
    • Experience using tools such as Ida Pro, Ollydbg, Windbg, gdb, or related tools is highly desired
    • Past experience writing X86 assembly code is required
    • Experience writing and analyzing DLLs is highly desired
    • Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Field Service Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Field Service Engineer (FSE) with more than 5 years of experience providing system maintenance, installation and operation in a deployed environment. This FSE will be providing system support and maintenance on the Containerized Weapon System (CWS) deployed in multiple OCONUS locations. This position has the following requirements

    • Familiarity with the operations and the design of the CWS and how it is deployed in theater
    • Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment in harsh environments
    • The willingness to deploy and live in OCONUS locations while providing support to the CWS
    • General knowledge of electronics, computers and the operation of computers utilizing the Windows operating system
    • Past military service is a plus but is not required

  • Systems Test Lead

    Invariant Corporation is seeking a Systems Test Lead with 3-5 years of experience. Duties include test planning, test execution, data collection, and post-test analysis. Pre and post test scenarios may be simulated utilizing virtual environments, so experience with C++ software development, object-oriented design/development, and three-dimensional virtual scene generation is desired. Experience and basic understanding of infrared systems and electro-optical systems is desired. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

    • Develop test reports and planning based on customer requirements
    • Develop network layout and interconnects for a wide variety of systems and sub-systems and verify information assurance requirements are met
    • Layout test scenarios based on test objectives and customer requirements
    • Participate in the execution of tests to include system setup, connection verification, test execution, and overall verification that test objectives are met
    • Execute pre-test and post-test simulation analysis using virtual environments, and simulated models running in an integrated architecture
    • Develop test reports summarizing test results and system performance
    • Budget and monitor multiple tasks and report progress against specific goals
    • Travel to various test sites to support pre-test planning and test execution

  • Mechanical Engineer

    Invariant Corporation is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience. Duties include electronics enclosure design, cable drawing development, computer aided drawing development, mechanical/electrical interfacing, and integration of components for operation in harsh conditions for extended periods of time. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

    • Maintain technical drawing packages consisting of various mechanical and electrical components
    • Utilize SolidWorks to develop electrical enclosures for housing of various components
    • Operate a three-dimensional printer used for proto-typing of designed components
    • Support testing and field exercises as necessary
    • Develop and maintain cable drawings
    • Generate layout designs for a system containing power generation components, electronic racks, network devices, and power relays
