Air Force awards $2.5 million contract to Huntsville software developer

Invariant Corporation has been awarded a $2.5 million contract with The Department of the Air Force and the Air Force Research Lab



HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Invariant Corporation has been awarded a $2.5 million contract with The Department of the Air Force and the Air Force Research Lab at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., for “Arthropod Vision-Based Systems Modeling.”


Invariant will provide a modeling tool for sensors based on the compound eyes of arthropods (insects). The five-year contract includes research and development of an arthropod vision modeling and simulation tool.


"We look forward to working with Eglin Air Force Base and the Air Force Research Lab on this project” - David Anderson, Invariant’s President and Co-Founder David Anderson.

Anderson went on to say “Our emphasis is on delivering quality products to our customer and using our experience in modeling and simulation to achieve this goal.”
