Huntsville, AL - Invariant Corporation has announced the window is now open for high school senior students to apply for the Pickard Strong Scholarship. This scholarship honors the legacy of former Invariant employee, Jack ‘Warren’ Pickard, who was an integral team member for many years.
“Invariant and the Pickard family co-created this scholarship to equip local student workforce leaders with the financial resources to pursue higher education,” says Invariant President, David Anderson. “Warren had an extremely diverse educational background and was a dedicated, lifelong learner. Our hope is that his memory continues to be honored through this program to help students achieve their educational goals.”
Applications are now being accepted for all class of 2023 seniors from Huntsville or Madison
City/County School Districts. The ideal candidate must already, or plan to be, enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or university, possess a minimum 2.8 GPA, and be an individual who holds similar values as Warren through leadership, education, and community activities. The applicant who is selected will receive a $2,000 scholarship to go towards tuition, books, or supplies for their undergraduate studies.
